should you stick to one brand of washing powder for a washing machine or is it okay to change(special offer much lower price) now and again ?

I change mine all the time, I dont see what difference it makes personally.

I stick to one brand for the people who are allergic to the active ingredients in the other brands. I don't think my machine cares very much - maybe it's just heartless!

Use any that you want to.

But every three months or so run a very hot programme with no detergents and no washing, just to give the machine a good rinse out.

I've often read it's better to change just like it is to change shampoos etc as after a while there's a build up of that detergent and another can 'wash' it out.
