Mobile Broadband Suggestions

I need to have access to the internet in a variety of locations that don't provide any access for visitors - places like church halls, small charities etc.
I use a netbook as a rule.
Do any Abers have suggestions / recommendations for a good-value, fast package - I find the offers that I can read through irritating as they're nearly all for 'bundles'.

Buy a PAYG dongle to gain access to the Internet. I have an 02 one. I do not use it much anymore and just top it up when I need to for a day/week/month whatever I need.

if you use a modern modern mobile, some of these can create there own wifi hotspot which you may be able to link your netbook to. not sure if all phones can do this, i can with my iphone providing of course you've got a signal.

What paul1763 means is that you can 'tether' your device to your mobile phone. All new smart phones have this option but certain providers do not allow it.

Go with a Wi-Fi dongle, it's ideal and if you're in a church hall, you can move the dongle to a place that it will pick up reception.

I just log in to bt WiFi hotspots on mine. I think it's free if your broadband os is with them. Otherwise you buy 24 hour passes.

I bought my daughter a MiFi device from Argos for £20.00 a couple of weeks ago, it came ready with 2 gb of data allowance that you top up the same way you do a PAYG mobile phone.

Other networks are available obviously, she just get better coverage from Vodafone where she lives.
