80's TV show
9 Answers
My husband reckons he remembers a show that was on late at night when he was really little (mid-late 80's) and a line was drawn across the screen and it might turn into a stickman or something. I think he mentioned the screen and line might have been red? He's the only person who remembers it and I'm sorry I can't be more specific but I don't know what he is talking about! Hope you can help :-)

They had a black background & a straight line that turned into a squiggly line & then a cartoon man (we only had black & white TV then - God! How old does that admission make me feel! - so can't confirm the colour of the line). If I remember correctly it was Czechoslovakian.
Can't remember what on earth it was called though but I hope that helps a little bit

Ooh i remember that. It was an Italian animation by Osvaldo Cavandoli called 'La Linea', i think. Get him to have a look at this:

Click on the thumbnails on the right of the biography, he might recognize the drawings.
This was a brilliant show by the way, i loved it as a kid :-)
