Here is a good one

a piece of muzak is being used as backing for a few things

One of Almodovar's new films has it

I thought it was duelling pianos by Lizst - orchestrated

allegro

ba-dump-pum baaaa
ba dump-pum baaaa
(etc)

there is a cartoon when Bugs bunny and another play this on opposing pianos and at one point Bugs blows the opponent away....

I know there is a musical lateral thinker out there....

I saw ("heard"?) some Liszt at the Barbican last weekend.

Alice Sara Ott playing Liszt's Piano Concerto Nr2

She was fantastic.

Liszt was a bit of a showman, wasn't he.
