Have They No Sense?
This happens over and over again recently the other day in Scarborough (and often in Blackpool) bloke takes his dog for a walk along the sea-front/promenade when the tides are high and breakers are bashing over the sea wall. The dog (usually a Jack Russell terrier or similar small breed) gets swept out into the sea. The owner then dives into the waves to try and rescue the dog and drowns, meanwhile the dog often makes its own way back onto the beach. Much as I have loved and cared for all the dogs I've owned I would never have risked their lives by taking them into such a dangerous situation and possibly risk my own life to save them.
High and dangerous tides are usually forecast, if they live on the coasts they ought to be aware of the dangers.

No they do not have sense people do not have respect for nature. The RNLI get called out to the most stupid incidents involving people who do not respect the sea. Mountain rescue teams and the coastguards get called out to rescue ill equipped people with just a mobile phone to guide them and ugg boots to keep them warm. I am sure others will come up with other organisations that rescue people that have all the gear but no idea.
