New Clutch...

Hi, my daughter has just had a new clutch on her ford KA, and she says it feels more difficult to drive regarding transmissions and she said sh nearly stalled it a few times on the way back from the garage who repaired it, now, i only drive automatic so i have no clue....but...if anyones experience will it get better after its been driven a few times? Thanks for any advice

I would agree with the above posts. All those years ago when I was learning to drive, despite being less than 2 years old, the clutch on my car was failing – as a result of the slipping clutch it was very forgiving as to when you took your foot of the clutch pedal. Once repaired, skill was required to get the engine revs and biting point just right,...

I would agree with the above posts.
All those years ago when I was learning to drive, despite being less than 2 years old, the clutch on my instructor’s car was failing – as a result of the slipping clutch it was very forgiving as to when you took your foot of the clutch pedal.
Once repaired, skill was required to get the engine revs and biting point just right, otherwise you were sure to stall the engine.
