I think the only 'bashing' PP took was in response to his rather odd comparisons, his sarcasm, and his apparent perception that he is the only person who understands historical context.

Alledgedly, they used Twitter and Facebook to cast around for suggestions on what should be done to the Jordanian pilot. So someone is still out there, with their internet account and their hastily deleted Twitter account and the archive of their Twitter account on the waybackmachine.com who actually typed out what they ended up doing to him. And they are an accessory to murder.

The suggestions, so far, are frivolous and could pass for humour (at the Frankie Boyle edge). Any further one-upmanship will end up getting someone banned by their ISP.
