Aldi own brand
If there is i havent been able to find it. Heinz is best! I wouldnt use any other brown sauce than H P either!
No, there isnt!! lots of cheaper ones but they all taste like vinegar!
I am happy with Sainsbury's own brand. Would only have HP Brown sauce. The Lidl Brown Sauce brand is dire.
HP isn't what it used to be, they've changed the recipe leading to a lot of complaints. I still use it though, and it has to be Lea and Perrins for Worcestershire sauce.
I like Levi Roots Reggae Reggae tomato ketchup. Does have a little kick but not too spicy
I'm very fussy about tomato sauce and only use Heinz, I jacked HP sauce in a while ago as they've made it way too sweet. Branston Brown sauce was recommended to me on here, it's very good but I can't find it anywhere :(
ASDA sell branston brown sauce, rocky
Years ago there used to be a brand called Chop Sauce which was OK. Can't remember who made it.
Ooh, thanks Always, there nearest Asda to me is about 8 miles away. Next time I'm in the area I'll nip in and get a few bottles. Morrison used to sell it but seem to have stopped.

Thanks again.
I like Aldi tomato sauce, but brown sauce has to be HP.
I find Kania tomato sauce from Lidl is excellent and obviously much cheaper in squeezy bottle so no spills or mess.
Tescos own brand is quite good but you can't beat Heinz
^^Morrisons also sell Branston brown sauce, the rich and fruity is a favourite.
Talking about tasting like vinegar, my mother and father, who were very frugal, would add vinegar when the bottle was nearly empty to make sure there was no waste.
Mine did that also. Probably as a result of war rationing.
tried all the cheaper ones but I went back to heinz
Tomato sauce seems too sugary to me now. And the brown sauces too pungent.
Aldi bramwells tomato sauce brilliant
