In 1999, Bradford City returned to the top flight after an absence of 77 years,are there any other clubs with a longer return or awaiting ?
(I do not mean clubs who have never been in top flight)

Seems to be Glossop in 1900 who where the smallest town in England to have had a team in the top tier of the English football league system
