We've had an email this morning from [email protected] asking to authorise a payment to www.1and1.co.uk, for £4.90.

If we ignore the email it will be paid, if we want to cancel the payment we need to open a link.

1and1 who seem to be a web development set up who know nothing about it, the "Invoice" number isn't in their format.

Has anyone else come across this? Naturally, we've reported a phishing and deleted the email.

never open a link after a request from an unknown source, it is a scam.

They ask for a small amount because it arouses less suspicion.

This is not the ay reputable companies and financial institutions do business
you're not the only one to get one
