Just got a replacement keyboard for my ACER E525 - it works fine but the connecting ribbon is about 1.5 centimetres too long so has to be folded.

Can it be cut? - any ideas? Thanks

Thanks - however that is the very site I used when fitting it- comparing the old and the new it is definitely longer.
