This falls into the "b l e e d i n g obvious" category as far I am concerned !
We have debated these daft things on AB before, and I made the point then that they would be popular amongst children, especially when you consider the flavours that are available.....bubble gum for instance. This new evidence seems to suggest that children are being drawn into using them.
They'd help develop a nicotine addiction and break down the inhibitions about inhaling. If the 'juice' wasn't available a user might use real cigarettes to get their fix.
They're not a good idea.
Sandy....I got into trouble for saying this next bit yesterday, but.....plain common sense !
The manufactures of these things are mainly tobacco companies. If people think that children are going to start by trying bubble gum flavour and not go on to try the nicotine ones, than they have their heads in the sand.
Yes thinking about it they come in diffrent strengths of nicotine. To give up smoking you start high and come down. So there will be some with no nicotine. Most of them do have nicotine though even the fruit flavour ones.
I have to say I can see little point in the fruit and sweet flavour ones other than to attract people who would not smoke tobacco. They seem to be diverging from the original idea of helping people stop smoking.
