Well, I'll try it out on you guys then. - it's a ceramic ashtray, with figure of a little naked gnomey man, holding a jar of Chairman tobacco, standing on a rounded bit with the words Chairman tobacco written on, with a shell shaped ashtray as base, it is marked royal Staffordshire pottery,(A J Wilkinson) honey glaze. I inherited it from an aunt, as I always loved it, and could date back to 1930s, it's cream coloured. When my son was a teenager he used to turn it round when I wasn't looking and tried to convince me it moved itself! And my sister and I used to think the wee man resembled our postman......anyone any ideas as to where I could find more about it, tried googling but could take forever.
