Yes...as long as your slow cooker is big enough. ;-)
Marinate/rub the lamb with garlic,chilli,rosemary and olive oil. Put the garlic in slits cut in the meat. Yum:-)
Two weeks ago I found a frozen leg of NZ lamb in my freezer dated June 2014. I defrosted and cut off the top 3 inches and it all then fitted in the slow cooker.
Delicious - and to all those date watchers, I'm still here, healthy, aged 81.
I think that mint destroys the taste of lamb. No proof, but I suspect its use goes back to the days of mutton, which can smell quite high - or meat that has gone off but is safe to eat if fully cooked.
I prefer a thick, creamy onion sauce instead.
