Winter Pansies

I hate having to throw these out when it's time for summer bedding plants, if I plant pansies,and violas into a big pot and leave them will they be usable for autumn again?

I'd give it a try Mags. I planted winter pansies in a pot last year and they flowered. Just left them where they were and they are in flower again, even better second time around.
