PC running painfully slow..
6 Answers
I've been having problems with the speed of my PC tonight.
It's been going at snails pace recently.I bet I could make a cup of tea by the time my PC can finish loading something up.
I have even Defragmented it,and ran a full system scan using Norton and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
Seems there is nothing wrong with my PC,as no viruses were reported.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was a GO FASTER button on computers these days. That would be terrific!!
Nevertheless I have tried Whickerman's website link earlier called speedtest.
I'm not sure if it has worked though.
Is there any other way to make it go a bit faster??
Maybe it was going slow because there were a lot of people on the web.My computer seems to be running a little quicker now i have nearly finished tapping this message.Doh!! Temperamental machines!!
I have also noticed the computer usage light seems to be always working.I don't have a clue what my computer is doing half the time....

Another technique is to press Alt/Ctrl/Delete keys all together and see what programs you have running at the time. If there is one that is hogging the system you can end it.
