I can't make up my mind if I like him or not, he can be very funny sometimes but at the moment he is getting on my nerves on Britain's Got Talent, what do you think of him?

That's like disliking an actor who has played a murderer.
I think he's kind, he isn't ever cruel and he does phenomenal work for charity, he isn't just a talking head. I'm bemused as to what's not to like about him.
Calling someone creepy with no hard facts to back it up isn't fair.

I disagree.
Finding someone creepy is about an impression, a feeling, and you don’t have to know someone at all to form an impression, so I think it is fair.
Disliking him for his LB characters is rather more unfair, although because he created them, he does carry a degree of responsibility for people’s reactions to them
