I have just sown some seeds and I would like to know what the height and spread of these plants is likely to be. The packet says that they are bushy but gives no idea of dimensions. I have previously grown different varieties which can reach up to about eight feet but i assume that these will be smaller. The seeds are sold by Thompson and Morgan but their Customer "Services" line leaves you on hold for more than 30 minutes (after which I gave up) and they do not answer E-mails. Any help would be much appreciated

Sorry not to know the answer but Whenever I grow squash I stop them by pinching out the tips once they have about four "branches". That way I have plenty of squash fruit in a reasonably manageable area rather than acres and acre of greenery.
It appears to be a compact variety, bred to save space.
I checked this with Thompson & Morgan and they recommend 3ft (90cm between plants.
If the soil is still cold in your area, it may be wise to use some cloches.
Good luck...........Chip.
