If Labour leaders said now that they would enter a coalition isn't it like saying to the electorate north of the border they could vote SNP and still get the Tories out? It wouldn't do much for their candidates chances.
But after the election who would blame them if they did try to strike a deal that would consign Cameron and his posh cronies to the dustbin of history?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.the scottish people can demand it, and the SNP can hold another referendum any time they like. but without sanction and co-operation of the UK government there won't be any mandate arising from it. the SNP could of course declare UDI, but with the oil industry on its backside, now wouldn't be a good time to try going it alone.
