Anyone know why this programme isn't on tonight on C5? There's no announcement or clue as to when it will be on. Has it been called off or postponed, there's nothing on their website and I'd like to watch it if they do show it.

Possibly one of the alleged skivers has an impending court case and airing the programme may be considered prejudicial.

I guessed legal problems as the likeliest (possibly a pending appeal?), they knew when the election would be years ago so couldn't be that now they're scheduled in advance. I hope they show it again, the replacement was a repeat and one I'd already seen. Now I just have to hope I discover when it'll be on if they do. If anyone finds out please post it back here!

I think the main reason people suffer from back pain for so long is because there have been so many fakers that doctors just won't take the condition seriously any more. We're just Nurofen fodder, now.

The leaflet says that taking the medicine on a long-term basis can cause liver damage and, of course, "if symptoms persist, consult your doctor". (But see above).

So I was quite keen to watch a program about these hateful people.

The Monday showing is scheduled as a repeat of the original (which was never shown). I'm guessing it won't be as advertised.

Update, juct checked the Freeview schedule, it's changed to repeat the programme which replaced it. Please keep adding any new information as it comes, I wish C5 would just let us know on their website but that would be too easy.

I sent channel 5 an e mail. Response says 'due to a legal issue we were unable to transmit this documentary and we apologise. We are planning to broadcast later in the year but no transmission dates confirmed at the moment'. At least it's a reply I suppose.
