Thursday. The sky was clear a while ago, it's clouding over now. Typical, I've got an outside job I want to do. I'll bet it rains!

Tiggy still out and about a little while ago, busy hoovering up the slugs and snails. Good lad! :o}

noooooo.....they would be in the freezer if they did...surrounding fields are awash with fluffy white things

they are down here too, having munched off the daffies, bluebells now.

Don't see many woolybacks here. Some, but not a lot, more cattle and grunters. The woolybacks we do have are on the salt marshes of the Severn, along with some of the cattle. Some of it ends up on the menu on Sundays at the TA. Salt marsh lamb and beef. It's to die for.

why do I feel hungry now ? no lamb in freezer..may have to dash out as I now have a hanker for it !

yes, I enjoy a good salt marsh lamb too, the Solway Firth used to provide ours in the NW and les Frogs had delicious lamb from around the Seine estuary. What used to be controversial was their 'Agneau de Lait' - delish though with some rosemary and Piment d'Esplette.

minty I was just thinking that myself. I haven't had a leg of lamb for ages. I'll be dropping in to my butcher round the corner when I go out.
