My neighbours haven't (yet) commented on my display of pants 'lowering the tone' of rural Warwickshire ...

... but do you hang yours out for the world to see?

Are boxers more acceptable than Y-fronts?

Are sparkly thongs (hello minty) less offensive than grey apple-catchers?

What about brassieres (hello sqad) - is Agent Provocateur acceptable when Doreen is not?

my neighbour worries when i put mine out that a passing plane doesn't think it's a windsock at an airport .
Some of the nice ones illustrating that article might get nicked.
Mine are grey, and tired, and threadbare(much like myself). I wouldn't inflict the sight of them on anybody.
I don't have a drying line outside - but I 'am' a Doreen girl!

Sounds a rather 'Victorian' attitude.

My sparkly thongs don't cause any comment anyway.
but do you hang yours out for the world to see? Yep.

Are boxers more acceptable than Y-fronts? Don't care, if it gets washed, it goes onl the line.

Are sparkly thongs (hello minty) less offensive than grey apple-catchers? Again don't care, though I have more of the latter than the former :-(

What about brassieres (hello sqad) - is Agent Provocateur acceptable when Doreen is not? Yep, those go out too, though again, they generic bras, not fancy ones.
ALL our washing is dried on the line in the garden.
Have always hung out my undies with the rest of the washing. What's the problem? Doesn't everyone wear underwear? Thongs for the memory!
I used to, in the days when my 'smalls' really were small! One day I forgot to bring my washing in, and the next morning, all my underwear had disappeared.I found out later it was actually a man that was taking ladies lingerie off the washing lines.Yuk.
Someone once pinched my pair of table tennis shorts off the clothes line...

Our old cat, (no longer with us), turned up more than once with a pair of knickers that didn't belong to either of us, 'Good Boy!'
I have one of those plastic circular things with lots of little pegs attached. I put all my underwear on that, and hang it on the line. Then, when they are dry, it's so much easier to take off the line and place in the airing cupboard.
In the summer yes I do hang out my lingerie but sadly the world cannot see it.

At the moment I have not assembled my hurly thing for laundry so only the members of the house see it on radiators/airers and the tumbler see's the rest.

I know who has them............your fault, you put him in them first.
If that's what Baldric's cat did..........god knows what he's trained his dogs to do.......x
I have white Bridget Jones's knickers. Well if they're good enough for my darling Hugh ;-)

Just good old cotton M&S...
I'm with B00, if it is laundry and the weather is fine, it gets hung out.

Even though my tenancy supposedly forbids it (but that's a different story).

Gness, they bring the knicker owners home!
;o)
