Constructing a porch in UPVC

I want to construct a porch in UPVC with about 2 sq mtrs of floor space about 8'.0" high with a flat roof .I'd like to build it on a slab type of footing about 12" high,would this type of footing be suitable

Any advice would be great.Dont believe that i need Planning/Building regs

Sounds OK for the weight you propose to load on it. I assume no dwarf wall. You do not need PP if the porch:
has a ground area (measured externally) of less than 3 square metres, is less than 3 metres above ground level, and will be more than 2 metres away from the boundary of a dwellinghouse with a highway, includes all footpaths and other public rights of way. You do not need BR approval because a porch is regarded as a non-habitable room, however it is worth following good practice when constructing it (e.g. put in a DPC/DPM) because it will add to the value of your property and its the first thing that people notice.
