my son bought me a plant for mothers day no idea what it is
it has medium sized green leaves with light brown spots on them it grown new leaves by shooting narrow thin stalks that then unfold into leaves sorry dont know how to put picture on so if anyone has any ideas it just keeps growing and growing but no leaves seem to die of

thanks that is it you are all very clever, it is a lovely plant

Have a look at it again tonight, the leaves come together like 'praying hands' hence the common name.
