just had a quick phone call from my sister. she is a bit concerned as she had an afternoon nap and was lying in bed and says she had a feeling of her lower body tingling, she says it felt a bit like the shivers but she wasnt cold (also like when someone steps over your grave) says it has happened before, is on levothyroxine and this is the only meds she take, tia all

It is no big deal and no need to panic or get upset.

It might be, although not typical of TIA (Transient Ischaemic Attack) which is a mini stroke.....although it is not typical.

Suggest to your sister to make an appt to see her GP early next week and he will question her more thoroughly and possibly arrange an ECG and blood tests.

soz sqad didnt know that saying its well know up here in the north east, anyway thanx for replies and my sister is 53 if that would make any difference, also it was on lower part of body ie legs then seemed to travel upto her arms . have told her she should maybe get checked out by gp and says she would of preferred that it was an orgasm but unfortunately it wasnt!!!!!.
