Tomorrow I finish a 10 day course of penicillin given to me because of a throat infection and swollen gland. The gland is still swollen, and the throat is a lot better but is not back to full strength yet - it still hurts when I swallow but more a bruised feel than a full-on battering. I wonder whether to go back to let the doctor decide whether I need more, or should I just leave it then go back if it gets no better? I don't want to waste her time but I don't want to undo any good that's been done. What would you do?
Yogi...o! I was lead singer in a trio. piano accordion (me), drums and piano.........we were called the Collegians, had one gigg at the Springfield Laundry Social Club Peterborough and we were.....rubbish.
Lol......I bet you were not half bad.....and a laundry social club,eh?..very stylish and you could wash your shorts while you played!
I'm sure I speak for everyone here, that we're happy that you went for 'something easier', Sqad...as you are, without doubt, one of the most respected and invaluable individuals on this site, helping people as you do, and long may you continue to be. :-) x( a manly peck, ok? )
Anyway, signed off today - NFA. No more penicillin or anything, no glandular fever - the gland should reduce within three months and the throat will now get better on its own. Apparently.
