Atheism is a belief system just as as desists believe in God.
The something from nothing explanation of the origins of the universe are irrational an d illogical, the twin pillars that atheists cite to support their beliefs.
Approximately one third of the Bible is prophecy, and a serious examination of its prophetic claims reveals an accuracy that cannot be explained away other than the fact that that some supernatural power is involved. Inbelieve that the power involved is the Almighty God of the Bible.
The Bible claims that the arrogance of men will blind them to the Truth, as they trust only in their own wisdom.
The crucifixion of Christ appears to be to be stupid and belief in Him foolish, but that is the point. Only by humility and repentance will the fullness of Jesus Christ be revealed to the pilgrim who in humility, asks God, to reveal Himself in that persons life.
The atheist will object of course, because this does not involve a repeatable laboratory objective experiment, but invites the sinner to embark on a journey of subjective and personal interaction with the person of Jesus Christ, and that journey to be moderated by the authority of scripture.
Those who refuse, should they have reputation, qualification, and the respect and adoration of men, will remain blind, and laugh at the foolishness of Christ.
That happens here on Answerbank all of the time.
I will not get into a fine tuned argument with any of you, because my relationship with Christ does not depend on it, but I urge you to investigate yourselves. Laugh at me if you like, but this life will end, and then what for you?
By the way, I am not some miserable old sod who lives in fear of death, but a family man who enjoys my God given days on earth, and wants you also to experience a relationship with Jesus Christ.God bless you all. Apologies for typos.

The prophecies are not simply the Jews returning to the Land, but the liberation of Jerusalem in 1967, the moves towards the one world religion of ecumenism under the banner of peace, the moves towards a one world government, as is obvious with the ongoing moves towards trade and fiscal Union, the U.N. and so many other international bodies overseeing the worlds affairs.

Atheism must be a belief system, because atheists have beliefs, just not the ones I have.
Atheists have their own high priests, Richard Dawkins probably being the most famous, along with Stephen Hawking.
These two affirm the universe creating itself, and then life mysteriously appearing from inert chemicals. Then the real hoot, evolution. No evidence for it, but believed by them and millions of their followers.
Now that really is a leap of blind faith.

Religion is something thought up by a few clever people as a means of controlling the superstitious masses. simple people easily led.
In the beginning there was nothing and god made the earth and everything on it. Out of what, if there was nothing? Stretching credibility a bit far don't you think?
Adam and Eve kicked out of the garden of eden for listening to a talking snake? I don't think so. They had three sons. So there were five people on the planet. Cutting a long and boring story short, the sons went off a nd came back with wives. A contradiction. there were only five people in the world. well four, as one killed one of his brothers.
Your bible is full of lies and contradictions. According to the bible and the catholic church all this happened about 6-7 thousand years ago. The world has been here for many billions of years. Scientific fact. Man has been around in one form or another, for well over three million years. the oldest remains of human existence were recently found and have been dated to 3 and a half million years old. Giving all the scientific proof you need that all your talk is so much rubbish.
If you want to believe all that tosh, that's your choice, but you do not have the right to shove it at other people and claim it is is all true. Sorry pal, but most of us are a bit brighter than that.

''...Those who refuse, should they have reputation, qualification, and the respect and adoration of men, will remain blind...''.
In other words: 'I'm better than you, you don't have the intelligence to see what I do' - nice. cheers.
I am a good person for the daily actions that I do, not for believing in a deity. If a person has no religious beliefs, it doesn't mean that their life is unfulfilled or pointless - nor does it mean they don't have the capacity to do good things with their lives and for others, respect the law or have morals.
I find the 'attack' mode in which a believer feels they have the right to mock those who have no faith to be unfounded and quite ludicrous. In this case it does Christianity PR no favours.
''...but I urge you to investigate yourselves...''
No. I'll pass thanks, I already have and it's all rubbish used to scare & to control the masses. Unfortunately it still goes on in this day and age and does more harm than good IMO.

Theland, //Frightening children with the devil and hell is a Roman Catholic ploy, as Catholicism thrives on fear. No bible believing christian would be so daft, cruel and dishonest.//
What's this? 'Not me Guv!' Sorry, but that isn't true and off-loading responsibility to make yourself feel better simply doesn't wash. If you're going to propagate evil ideas (and the concept of a god that metes out eternal punishment is an evil idea) then have the courage of your convictions and accept responsibility for what you and your fellow 'bible believing Christians' are promoting.
//Atheism must be a belief system, because atheists have beliefs//
… but not beliefs in unverifiable accounts of gods, angels, devils, etc., etc.
//Now that really is a leap of blind faith.//
No 'faith' required. Faith is immutable - science isn't.
