Email problem

I have programmed PowerPoint to automatically generate an email when a presentation has been copmpleted however Outlook will not let PowerPoint access my address book. Can I turn off the security feature in outlook that is causing this?

I wouldn't reccomend you do this.

This security feature means that malicious software, viruses and other nasties, cannot access your address book and replicate by sending them to the entire contents of your address book.

The only way round this security feature is to use Extended MAPI or Outlook Redemption :

Another way completely would be to create a text file in the SMTP pickup directory (you would need to have IIS's SMTP server installed locally for this to work).
