Own own home , now that mortgage has been paid off.
Happily married for 25 years in August.
Enjoying life working and living in Switzerland and earning a very good salary and high standard of living. Will return to uk in two years time and retire.
Health is below average , once I turned 46 bits started to go wrong.
In right place for good health care, keeping reading the papers and news , have real fear on returning to uk and what's left of NHS :-(
But they only gave me a five year work permit and I don't intend to extend it.
Miss Fish And Chips and baked beans lol

After a difficult (to say the least - I was scared for my life!) few years in my 50's I have emerged into what I hope will be the sunny evening uplands with my dear OH. No. I haven't yet achieved everything, but I have had a couple of stories published and surely the book can't be too far away!
One always has regrets and knows of the opportunities one did not take. Looking back, I have helped pupils to achieve their goals and changed some lives, so I suppose that's not too bad. Still itch to do more with my life!

Excellent health at 75, coming up for 39 years married to sweet woman 20 years my junior, 2 brilliant daughters, Oxford and Manchester MA degrees, grandchildren very happy & bright.
Retired FCA, still have some clients, old friends. Do the Times every morning (OK most mornings)
I'm being badgered to say what I want for my big birthday, but can honestly say there's nothing in the world I want.

A few years ago I sold my house and bought this flat, which I love. So that's good.
I didn't have a mortgage, but I bought a couple of other houses in the town, so I do now.
I have a reasonable income.
But I don't have a family. I'm 49 this year, so children are not going to happen. That doesn't worry me too much. I don't feel very maternal, and I can live without the prospect of squeezing something the size of a melon out through my front bum.
And my boyfriend lives in Switzerland, so I spend a lot of time sitting at airports. On the plus side, I get to read a lot of books.
But generally, my life is quite jolly. There are always people less fortunate than oneself.
