Anyone have that link where it gives you shortcuts when trying to call these automated switchboards.

A good way to bypass this - is to press no options at all, but put your fingers over mouthpiece so no noise is detected. After telling you it can NOT detect a choice they will find next operator or cut you off.

Basically two kind of phones are used in call centers, Soft phones which is connected to your computer directly and another one is hard phone its a land line wired phone called avaya.
Shortcuts to be used in avaya varies from company to company. It depends on the setting saved by it department. In soft phone shortcuts are available on your computer screen only, there are tabs for break, hold, meeting aux and training aux You can avail them directly from there.
