Not really. Not that I read.

I find parents divulge much more information than their kids.
I remember the t.v. 'closing down' overnight (younger people I work with don't believe me on this one), and the awful dubbed children's programmes (Robinson Crusoe anyone?). I also remember making the annual pilgrimage to my auntie's house to watch the F.A. Cup final because she had a colour t.v. and we only had a black and white one.
I remember when 16 pints didn't get me drunk!
I remember going to a wee chippie where you could get a big bag of piping hot chips for 4d. It was owned by Italians who had a sign on the wall which read "Impossible things done immediately, miracles take a little longer." Strange the things you remember. Aye, nostalgia's no' what it used to be!

I remember visiting an aunt because she had a TV, a 9" round one. it was like looking at the world through a porthole.
I remember when I was a secret lemonade drinker...
I remember when you could hear the name 'Jack Warner' + think 'Dixon of Dock Green'. (in fact, that's what I've been doing all day) ;)

No wonder the dog icon is lying on its side looking exhausted

my first decimal pint of beer 1971 was 13p - which means only eight
for sixteen pints to the pound it would need to be one-and-three....1/3
Bathsheba

'Jack Warner' + think 'Dixon of Dock Green'.

and now of course you think "Nicked, and in the dock, as seen".

Bathsheba Everdene never played football but ir she did she would intantly recognise the refernce to modern Jack Warner and futbol corruption
