Computer Failure

Whilst using my HP laptop yesterday, all of sudden it just flashed brightly then just went dark, then no power or anything. Was plugged into charger whilst I was using it. Any ideas please?

My non-technical advice would be to buy a new laptop.

Sounds as if the thing is beggered waltkar ! You could have had a surge in your lecky supply I suppose.

My idea would be to take it to a workshop and let them take a gander at it.

Checked all fuses I suppose ? Might be a blown powerr supply. Can't tell until looked at.

Try disconnecting all power supply; including removing battery. Wait a few minutes, then reconnect and switch on.
