I am trying to find out what happened to the company Payne, Stone, Fraser & Co of Bedford Row, London. Any info such as when they were wound up etc. Maybe someone could point me in the direction as to where to look?

Thanks bathsheba. That must be the same company. I`d love to know when they moved out of London. It doesn`t look like they are there (in Chelmsford) anymore. I have looked on streetview and I think 39 is the Futon company and there is office space above for let in the picture so maybe that is where they were.
