I use a plug in one (ambi pure) in my kitchen which I like - not overpowering - just a pleasant background aroma.
have had various kinds and prices and haven't found any of them particularly helpful, better to keep on top of the dusting and vaccuuming and open the windows.
Tried quite a few, cheap and expensive, plug in and electronic. I find just opening the windows does a better job... and it's free. Good luck Ric xx
Just to point out that whatever they are called, air FRESHENERS don't purify the air, they just add a perfume. For an air purifier to work they have to have a filter and maybe an ioniser.

It was a purifier I was thinking about not any kind of freshener to perfume the air
