Hospice Films Dingbats

I am having fun with the newly distributed Pendleside Hospice Dingbats but am tearing my hair out in particular at nos. 18, 24, 40, 46 and 48. ANY pointers or clues would be gratefully received.

Forget about the sea, it's the letter C

Read all that but still didn't get POARD. Sorry scorpiojo, I'm confused enough without going down another road so will stick to this one. Mallyh, I don't actually have the quiz with me but I can recall that it's - a. ga7 Beneath the a. is b. ga7 . The letters a.b.c.d. etc in a column down the left hand side with the 'ga7's in a vertical column too. Ms Toynbee is in the empty space down the right hand side. The e. ga7 is underlined. Thank you again for the pointers - I will now go back to looking up the films which I read and STILL didn't put 2+2 together.
AH!!!!!!!!!! Now I've found the film but still can't crack 'The dingbat, the whole dingbat and nothing but the dingbat' which this compiler always instructs us to do. However, having seen him and his team getting soundly beaten on "Only Connect" maybe a bit of unconnected thinking is allowed. Thanks again, you two.
Thank you. I thought you'd given up on me when no one had posted any suggestions for me since last night. I spent all today looking at under, over, above and every title with sea in it. I decided I was never going to get any further with that or the other eager/eagle 'ga' question! Maybe I have the wrong kind of mind or something. We do quite well in the Independent on Sunday art details competition in the Review and, to restore my confidence, I bought the paper today expecting to know the answer but discovered I didn't! I wasn't too concerned when I realised that the prize had been downgraded from a bottle of champagne to a bottle of Prosecco! Can you give me another pointer please? I've just been through all the over, above and on films for sea again and still got nothing!
Oh! I feel SO stupid! Thank you. I am now wondering if the eagle/eager/ 'ga' questions is actually an 'l' rather than the '7' it appears to be so it would fit perfectly ending in Ms Toynbe. I'm never going to retire on the proceeds of this type of quiz but I'm certainly enjoying trying to do them more than I did. Thank you again.
