Take a trip or walk the coast path to Crackington haven.
Nice little pub to have lunch at, over looking haven.
Used to own a holiday home ...well barn conversion at Crackington a few years back. Was only person in pub some stormy winter nights.

I envy you. I remember staying at a farm near Kilkhampton in the 60's and we used to make regular trips to Widemouth. I love the place. We got up at 6 am one morning and took a kitten with us! Those were the days! Hope to make a trip to Cornwall next year.

I'm staying on dairy farm, tizzi, there's no traffic noise, street lights and very few people...bliss. I was only looking at the map last night at Cracklington and I've sorted out a walk on the coastal path

Yes, the farm I stayed at was a dairy farm as well melv. We also stayed at a cottage next to the pub in Kilkhampton - I'm now wondering if the pub is still there!
