Where is the surprise? Player for player Australia are far superior to England. I suggested ( and invested) in a 2-2 series result at the offset. I'd be surprised if the Aussies don't romp home from here. To add, if I'd been run out the way Stokes was, I'd never have played for the school again.

I was thinking that about the run out, too, secondlaw. It's not even a schoolboy error. Virtually the very first day I picked up a bat to be taught the rudiments of cricket it was drummed into us that you run the bat along the ground when approaching the crease. Doesn't matter if the ball is near the boundary, just do it so that you don't have to think about it when it does matter.
