I've just come in from watering the beans, and am itching from head to toe too! But what a lovely still evening it is out there, almost worth a bite or too to have spent that last half an hour in amongst the vegetables and honeysuckle scent.

yeah if you look at the victorian photos
they arent tending the fields in speedos and nothing else

I learnt early on to cover up to avoid the damned horseflies
nothing to do with midgies ....
