Is this really rational behaviour?

Do you like waving at the Queen and would it make your day if she waved in your general direction?

If Her Majesty passed by me and waved I would wave back - that's only polite.
I wouldn't sit out and wait to see the queen wave but can you imagine how much money that brought in. Tube, trains, taxis, fast food, silly flags/hats/outfits. I know the royal family cost tax payers money but....not on this scale.
I would quite happily wave at the lovely Queen ...
I'll happily wave at them all.
Royals being ratonal ?

think George III - ( the mad one with porphyria - in case people can't spot the link )
ive seen the queen 3 times live and on tv and press for the last 65 years at least four times a week, i feel shes like my distant grandma , i love the lady, and not ashamed to say there will be a big hole in my heart when her times comes
I remember seeing the Queen Mother in the 1940s and was convinced for many years that she smiled at me. I have always loved the Royal Family (well most of them), and wouldn't want to do their job for all the money in the world. Yes, they have a lot of money but are at constant risk and can't go anywhere on their own. Yes, I would wave happily at the Queen, and think she does s wonderful job.
who is the Portobello mushroom next to Her Nibs?
as a fella, if the queen waved at me i'd probably panic and curtsey

I might wave at her - but only just before I pulled the trigger.

I didn't say if the Queen waved at you...I said in your general direction.
I don't think the Queen would wave at a random individual member of the pleblic..

I think that is a tad harsh, Buenchico. What has she done to deserve that?
Well I still say 'Hello' to random strangers on the street, then discover they are on the phone.

After all these years you'd think I'd get it.
I know what you mean, Mamya.....came out of the car park early and had 55 minutes left on my ticket (the rates here horrendous), a woman standing at the machine in the queue on the phone. I wound down the passenger side window and said "Would you like the ticket, I have nearly an hour on it?" I got an icy stare and a blunt "I am on the phone." My response, "Feck off, I wouldn't give it to you now, anyway."
i would wave and acknowledge anyone who is good at their job and worked hard for a salary . so no and no :)
Buenchico - so you'd kill the Queen ????
^^^ . . . and at least the first hundred people in line to the throne. The Russians knew what to do with so-called 'royal' families!
And look where the russians are today. A police state full of frustrated drunks or greedy oligarchs who will bend you at will till your early agonised death.
All those children and babies too , bad Buen.
