Thanks for your answers - theres a quite a few mentioned which i havent seen but i agree with the notebook and forest gump.


One of my favourites is The last of the Mohicans - I think Maj Heyward truly loved Cora - he offered himself sacrificed in her place rather than hawkeye because he knew it was hawkeye she loved and so would make her most happy.
