Best Before Today...
6 Answers
On Saturday I bought several items from Asda for the fridge, for dinners throughout the week. However I've just noticed that they are all Best Before today! Granted I should have checked dates in the shop but I assumed the shelf lives would be longer than 2 days. I've now just crammed the lot in my overfull freezer. Do you think it will be ok and if so will it deteriorate as it defrosts? It's a large pie, pack of sausage rolls and beef mince.

These are all things you're going to cook, so as long as you let them defrost properly and cook them thoroughly, you should be safe.
