The ospreys didn't breed this year at Loch Garten, Alavarf.

I don't mind birds getting predated by natural predators...it's nature. What I don't like is animals, especially birds getting predated by 'king cats. Why can't the owners keep them in at night!!!!!!!!

Agreed! I hate cats. Our next door neighbours have just obtained two 'adorable' rescue kittens from the RSPCA.........they are going to 'train' them not to kill birds!...........how?

One of the chicks is missing at the saker falcon nest site. I hope it's fledged and not come to a sticky end.

Melv, underneath the webcam it says that all five eggs have been removed. So, is it one of the adult's that's missing?

I think that's from earlier in the year, tilly. The falcons started again and 2 eggs were laid & hatched.

Yes, it is one of the chicks. It was fed about an hour ago.

One of them is sitting right in front of the camera. Irritating bits of down left on its face, right in front of its eyes!
