Help, ideas needed.....

Ok I don't often post here but I reckon you body and soul professionalls may be able to help. For the last 6 weeks or so I have been seeing a new girlfriend. Yes there is a mad woman out there! Anyway how the h3ll do you find out when her birthday is without causing suspicion and without seeming nosey/prying and of course without asking directly, I know the star sign so I have a rough idea. Any ideas anyone?

wouldn't look to good if he got caught though champagne! lol I don't see what the problem is with just asking really loosehead, after all shed be pretty p**sed off if you missed it no doubt. I certainly wouldn't mind being asked. If you really don't want to though, say for if you want to surprise her, is there a friend or family member you could ask? I think that would be your best bet otherwise you will have to get sneaky and she may notice and not like it.

She'll be pleased that you are thinking that far ahead. Just ask her say, how old are you again? then when she says 21 say oh when are you 22? Not so direct. Works everytime.

What is the star sign i.e.is this an urgent matter or do you have the time to say that its our two month anniversary ... or something equally as vomit inducing .... and so I feel it's time we compared driving licence or passport photos. If it helps a couple of months ago on watchdog they were saying that some strange things were happening at the dvla regarding driving licences so ask her if you can compare categories or something like that. I think it a nice idea to surprise her by just knowing ( apparently ) this sort of thing I'd give you extra brownie points for finding out without my knowingly helping you or asking my friends...a bit of intrigue goes a long way.

I agree with the others - just ask. Its one of the things you do ask when you are getting to know someone. I wouldnt think you were being nosy or prying.

Thanks for your idea's. I was trying to avoid asking directly so it seems like more of a surprise at the time. I like the driving licences idea though, I was just thinking myself of comparing photos or something then I could clock the DOB. I suppose I just wanted to inject a little mystery! Oh and sense4all, the start sign is a while off so plenty of time.

You could talk about star signs and say "whereabouts in the month are you?" cos of course, it varies depending on where you are! A 24th Dec Capricorn is different to a 13th Jan one!! If she asks how they are different just say "Oh, someone I know was telling me that each star sign is divided into 3 types. But I dunno, really" which leaves you non- committal, but with the info you want.
