Out of the many things my cat can do to my laptop just by walking on it that I can't rectify, what is this one - every time I click on a post in AB it opens in a new window so I get loads of tabs. I can't find how to undo it without shutting down and restarting. She's done it twice now. Any ideas?
In case methyl answers it's a Dell laptop running Win 7 with Chrome as my main browser, oh and it's red :-))

Is your cat a tab by ?
Check your broswer settings. Maybe links are set to always open in a new tab.

LOL no she's a tortie but what ever she does it's just by depressing some combination of keys - she doesn't use the mouse :-))

well links do yes, always have, but threads off AB don't
"well links do yes, always have, but threads off AB don't"
Threads are links. The reason *other* links on AB open in another windows, is because AB tells them to.
As Old_Geezer says, check to see if you browser has been changed to open ALL links in a new window.
The other possibility is that you cat has sat on the CTRL key, and it's stick down.
One of my cats can turn all the screen upside down - or at least all the text. It is said that the heat attracts them - but cat people know that it is because they are evil and sadistic little Bs.

wolf mine has also turned it upside down, and sideways, and really narrow and some really technical stuff that comes up in html.
It's nothing to do with the heat, it's a deliberate act of destruction to get my attention to get up and attend to one of her many needs. She covers it up well by purring and rubbing me but I know what's she's really up to. If I ignore her long enough then she gets up on the back of the sofa and then leaps down with full force onto the keys. I know exactly what her game is...
Lol
I am somewhat lost on this one and am hoping that 'catman' Chris will step forward with a purrfect answer for you. It is a fact that Buenchico (Chris) has a few cats whom I believe regularly walk over the keyboards of his computers.
