That 3 Mobile ad - again!

What is that music, where a girl's walking around talking into a mobile and a big bit of pink fabric sort of follows her and drapes itself around her.

It's NOT Mary Queen of Scots. I got the album today and MQoS is on it, but it ain't the tune off the ad.

The piece is called Forgotten dreams, and it was composed by Leroy Anderson. It's on iTunes.

having been here before, it seems there is more than 1 ad in this style, each has its own soundtrack.

The one airing in the central region has a track called "forgotten dreams". This was written by Leroy Anderson and has been recorded many times, including by Mantovani and Russ Conway. A previous post identified the particular "ad" version as that conducted by Leonard Slatman.

That's the one! Oh ... Leroy Anderson - now I know why I like it. I've just found it on his website, along with a load of other stuff we play at band - albeit not quite so well as these guys.
