When I was very young, back in 1939 I had Rheumatic Fever which in those days was very serious and which left me with heart problems for the next five years which I spent in hospitals and heart homes....

Hand cranking a car

Believe it or not I have a car with a starting handle (a 2cv) so if needs be I can crank it to start it. Has anyone else got a car with this useful facility or had such a car in the past?

What are your recipes for yorkshire pud ?

She was stopped a wages payment last week because someone stole ?70 out of the till. there are upto 4 workers in the shop at any one time. Is this a legal move by the employer, or not. I am fuming...

there is a house close to where i live. it has been sitting empty for a very long time. the garden is in wrack or ruin. the hose has been totally trashed. burnt out inside, windows all broke, doors...

My friends husband left her about 2 years ago,what maintainnce could she expect from him, he earns ?50,000+ my friend does not work as she has to look after their only child who is disabled.
