baby Rice/ solids

Hi all, i have just started my baby on baby rice just in the mornings, how do you get them on solids and can i give her baby rice twice a day?

I have recently moved home from london to suffolk, my cat has been kept in for 2 weeks, and i started letting him out he never went far, then a few days later he would not go out because of the dogs...
