is there anyway I can get directx 9.0 without having microsoft validating my Windows XP version..and finding out it's a bootleg copy

Playing a downloaded video clip with windows media player is jerky

Playing a video clip is very jumpy. It's as though the screen is being refreshed too slowly. Any thoughts guys??

Cool radiator

I have a combi boiler, and all of my radiators are working fine, except one up stairs which is a different radiator to the others. It's silver, has rungs on it and goes up the wall in the bathroom....
