standby light doesn't stop flashingon ps3

I turned on ps3 and went online to play cod4, I left it for about 5 mins and when I came back it had turned itself off and red standby light was flashing, I then turned it off at the back and on again...

ipod touch not coming on

my ipod touch has just stopped working, it won't turn on, I then pluged it into my laptop and it recognises it as my ipod (but still can't turn it on) so I restored it, but it still doesn't turn on...

has anyone had problems with the itouch? I've had 2 different itouch and both had the same problem, my laptop hasn't recognised it
