PGate Basic

I seem to have aquired a programme called "PGate Basic". I don't want it but it tries to send me to an internet removal site when I try to delete it using my "Add or Remove Programmes" option on XP...

"Disk cleanup " XP failure

How do you repair "disk cleanup" on Windows XP? I start it going, it gets to about 3 green bars and then just stops. I've tried clearing files on the internet options menu. Can I do anything else?
